Group exhibition in Azerbaijan

Hello my dear friends, here is a short report from group exhibition in Gabala from December 2015 to January 2016,where I was chosen by commitee to participate.

I´m really honoured that my painting "Talent in Baku" had a big success and was sold on the first day of exhibition.

Gabala IV International Art Exhibition, dedicated to the I European games held on June 12-28, 2015 in Baku, was held in Heydar Aliyev Congress Hall on “Sports! Beauty! Life!” together with the Azerbaijan Culture Foundation.

137 works of 112 artists from 19 countries were exhibited: Azerbaijan, Slovakia,Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Mexico, Montenegro, Pakistan, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

A congratulatory letter was presented on behalf of Mrs.Mehriban Aliyeva-the First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Azerbaijan Culture Foundation, Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition.

Documentary film “Azerbaijani statehood and culture” was displayed initially in the opening ceremony.

The guests were greeted by: Mrs.Ruhangiz Heydarova - Chairperson of SEBA Association; Mr.Anar Alakbarov - Executive director of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation; Mr.Azad Rahimov - Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Mr.Nazim Samadov - Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Mr.Omar Eldarov - Academician, rector of the Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan; Mr.Kim Chang Gyu - Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Azerbaijan; Mr.Ilyas Umakhanov - Vice-chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

Then the guests had a look at the exhibition.
