The 4th Gabala International Art Exhibition.
My dear friends,
I´m so honoured to inform u about next exhibition which I was chosen by organising commitee to participate.
It is taking place in Heydar Aliyev Congress Centre,Gabala city,in the Azerbaijan Republic from 19th December 2015 to 17th January 2016.
My painting TALENT IN BAKU will be exhibited there to represent the main theme "Sports!Beauty!Life!" of this well-known international exhibition
To participate at this international exhibition means a great honour for every artist and of course for ME :-)
In May 2013 The 3rd Gabala International Art Exhibition on “Melody of Portraits” was organised in the Gabala Culture Centre together with the Azerbaijani Culture Foundation. The Exhibition was dedicated to the 90th birth anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people.
During the Exhibition-Sale, about 300 artworks by 165 artists from 23 countries were exhibited: Albania, Algeria, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, Finland, Germany, Georgia, Greece, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Netherlands, Russia, Singapore, Turkey and Ukraine.
On the occasion of the Exhibition, a congratulatory letter on behalf of Mrs Mehriban Aliyeva, the first lady of Azerbaijan, president of the Azerbaijani Culture Foundation and Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, was sent as well.
Chairperson of SEBA (Seoul-Baku) Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association Ruhangiz Heydarova; member of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Elmir Baghirov; People’s Artist, chairman of the Azerbaijan Artists’ Union Ferhad Khalilov; People’s Artist of USSR, Azerbaijan and Russia, academician Tahir Salahov; Ambassador of Korea to Azerbaijan Choi Suk-inn and head of the Cultural Scientific Centre of the Minister of Culture and Tourism Vilayat Ismayilov took the floor in the official opening ceremony.
For the first time in the history of the Gabala Exhibitions, jury took a decision on awarding diplomas to 24 participants (the 2 of them with honorary diplomas, 22 with diplomas for certain nominations). The diploma receivers were given encouraging bonus by the sponsors of the Exhibition – AFB Bank and Azsigorta.
After the opening ceremony, a dance and music concert of 23 participating countries took place in the Gabala Culture Centre’s Assembly Hall that became a great surprise for the guests. At the concert sang People’s Artists of Azerbaijan Fidan and Khuraman Gasimovas; Latifa Soyuoz and Hamidifar Hadi and danced the Azerbaijani State Dance Ensemble lead by People’s Artist Afag Malikova.
